Apple ...

For the past few weeks, my Powerbook has been acting up. All of sudden it became sluggish, crashed while using any random app, and that was driving me mad as I couldn't place what the whole problem was about. Then finally the machine itself was kind enough to tell me that the hard disk was dying. Sigh ... I just had it replaced 2 years back, and now it's acting up all over again. Lucky for me, it's still under warranty.

Not wanting to pay the service center 150 bucks just to open up the machine and retrieve the hard disk for me to send it for warranty claim, I decided to open it up on my own. Initially I thought this going to be the last time the machine going to be in one piece, but after managing to open up the case and get to the hard drive, it gave me all new confidence. I think, now I can repair any other problems with this machine as long as I know what is the actual problem.

Have already sent in the hard drive for warranty claim. Believe it or not, it's going to take 3 weeks for the drive to be either repaired or replaced. It seems, they've got to send it all the way to Singapore to sort it out. My godd, that means I'm stuck with my other machine which runs MS Vista. MS Vista for next 3 weeks???, that doesn't sound like a good thing. I truly hate Vista, it's an ass of an OS as far as I'm corncerned. Hmmm, let's see how the next 3 week goes by with Vista ...

Here it is, picture of my sick Apple... :(
