Wednesday, October 22, 2003 Deepavali greetings ... Hey dudes n dudettes... Happy Deepavali and may this festive of light brighten all our lives a bit brighter. I'm sure all of us can do with a bit more fun, happiness and brighter moments in life. These wishes coming from bottom of my heart n hope all these materializes. I think this deepavali goin to make me tad bit poorer. Well it's not because of me goin on wild shopping spree or anything like that. It's bcoz ... I'll be givin out 'ang-pows' to all my little cousins. All this started from the hint my dad gave me few days back. That since I'm working n all, I should start giving 'ang-pows' to the kids. Y I asked? Since normally only married couples give 'ang-pow' atleast that's how it has been all this while in my family. According to my dad, since the kids know that I'm working n all, they'll be expecting something from me n I should not dissapoint them. So this is the year where things slightly changes in my family. Hmmmm, does that mean I won't b getting any money since I'm in the giving end ???
