Sick
I'm really sick n tired of listening to the news about the war, especially over our local TV stations. I personally feel that the news they r reporting r very biased n the views r always from one angle only. I feel, they r pro Saddam, n as for me I'm not pro anyone. I just think it's very wrong to put civilian life on the line, just because 2 powerful morons could not solve their problems. I was surprise when the local newscaster started to use the word "tentera penceroboh" (invading army) while all this while they were referring to them as "tentere bersekutu" (coalition army).
N as for the peace rally which took place here, it really amuses me. I suddenly begin to wonder whether the rally was really for wanting peace n war free world or was it more religiously motivated. Well if it's not religiously motivated, then where were this people when the Indonesian people were going around killing n torturing the chinese people there n who also did so many despicable acts. Where were they when there was racial tension in Kampung Medan, where some people got killed n some were abused, where were they when the Sept 11 happened, where were they when a proud moron admitted that he was the one who planned the Bali bombing. The list just goes on n on from the India-Pakistan war to the Somalia n Vietnam. Well I could b very wrong here, but it just doesn't seem to make sense to me at all. Coz this are the same people who made total chaos in the city when our previous deputy PM was sacked, they acted like hooligans. An act which was far from an act of wanting peace.
